The law for Hopping issue..

The general election of 8th March has cost the BN their 2/3 majority in the parliament seats. Although they have setup the new government instantly but how long can this said government last for?

It has been a hot topic about MPs hopping from BN to Pakatan Rakyat particularly from East Malaysia after Dato Seri Anwar has publicly mention that he has successfully receive sufficient number of MPs to overthrown the BN government and build the new central government of pakatan rakyat. While on the other hand, the BN side seen like starting to draft an anti hopping act to prohibit any MPs from their side to hop to the opposition.

However, I personally think that any act that prohibit people included elected MPs to leave his/her/theirs existing parties to join others for their better matched political objectives, philosophies and views of nation and social affairs is unacceptable; it is just like prohibit a worker from leaving an organization and join another which found to have offer a better condition and environment.

My objection on the establishment of any anti-hopping act is to ensure that each and every Members of the parliament will be able to contribute more effectively and efficiently to fight for their voters under the flag of a more suitable political party.

Meanwhile, I suggest for amendments to be made on the existing election act in order to tackle the political hopping issue as below:
Election Act Sect xxx

Any of the candidates who won in the election as elected MP must remain in his/her said party as registered during the general election for his/her term of service of 5 years or prior to the dissolve of the parliament; any elected candidates who withdraw from the said party as registered (to join any others or remain independent) during his/her term of service should be automatically sacked as Member of the Parliament while a by-election should called up within the next 30days for new Member of Parliament for particular seat.

Sub- section:
The said MP who been sacked is eligible to be nominated for the said by-election as an independent candidates or candidates under his/her new party.

My suggestion is actually to ensure that politician/ any of the MPs are not restricted to remain in a party that he/she might not able to perform his/her responsibility as for the best of his/her voters.

Nonetheless, it also gave a second chance for voters to eliminate candidate who is purely a political speculator that hopping from party to another for his/her individual interest.

Lastly, if the said candidate remain as the MP after the by-election, it should be clear that the voters are satisfy with the candidate’s individual performance as the voice of theirs in the hall of parliament instead of the which party does he/she represent and serve for.

Today's educational output/products

This has been a hot debate topic many youngsters today whether to further or not and amongst those who taking their degree or tertiary educational stage. Is it today educational has just able to produce those “scholars” who know only how to read, memorize and sit for exam?

I believe we should look into the reason of study: whether it is for the purpose of brighter future with higher paid or for knowledge to upgrade a person mind and knowledge base.

For those who do well for the aim of getting better results for the future, whether it is healthy to working hard in reading and memorize the books again and again for exam is not a matter, the most important thing is to making sure the As in the result slip. Are we learning in a healthy educational structure, who cares…just get the “A”s will do…

For those who study with the objective of acquire knowledge, of course, they will think that students from the other side is nothing than a photocopy machines which photocopy everything inside the text book, lecturers’ views to the exam answer sheet. They could be no thinking process being taken apart from that…

After studying for so many years and experiences in looking for job recently, I conclude that it could be found to be caused by follows:

1. The requirements of the market
Whether on newspapers or on-line recruitment notice, there must be a qualification requirements, it is there since ancient times; because of the prevalence of college students, now in the qualifications may ask you to be on a certain level of results, it may be second upper, 3.2 or 3.5 of CGPA depends on the results and post that you look for.

2. National education system
Fostering young scholars with real thinking and analyst mindset and practical experience could be something impossible under our current education system. The current system requires students to remember all the theories, but not really in understand it and use it; students might not even have chance to practice it and try it.
We should look back to all former Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education’s backgrounds, the strategy and policies maker for our country’s education system, how many of them do have such background or understanding or relevance knowledge in education industry?

3.Social assessment on the degree of learning level
look around you and see how parents and those aunty and uncle assess their children or others children achievement in learning or their education. The most important and common part of that is how many “A”s have their children get in the exam and/or how many marks do they score out of 100%.

last year, last week, last day in university.

It has finally comes to my last year, last week, last day in university.

It has been a very busy week with fully scheduled of entertainment program with my classmates which see me break my new record of being out from hostel for more than 12hours consecutively.

Although it is quite tired and quite “hurt to my wallet” but it is well paid with the happiness time and sweet memory with all of u guys as undergraduates and which we might not able to do so after we are graduate.(I believe this is our last chance to use student price..haha).

I miss my last class also my last tutorial as it has been ended when I reach at sg long from KLCC. By the way, this is the semester that I miss more tutorial than lecture (a weird situation in university I believe).

Preparation for my last final exam WAR is to begin and hope to win it with tremendous result and wish all of us to achieve it together.

All the best…

Malaysia Polictician second edition(part 2)

The 12th malaysia general was ended with lots of suprise where big names shot down and young guns of big name fall as well.

Barisan Nasional

Abdullah Badawi>>> Khairy Jamaluddin P131: Rembau WON

it was surprising result for me to see him win the parliament of Rembau. As I watch the live result of election in Malaysiakini, it initially shows that Khairy has lost in Rembau.

However, yet when I double check the result again after half an hour, it show Khairy lead in it, I am wondering what is happening to the result.

Mahathir Mohd>>>> Mukhriz Mahathir P5:Jerlun WON

Even with some objection from the local UMNo, Mukhriz still able to score a win in Jerlun. It does not surprise me as tun Mahathir has been a strong brand name in kedah.

Ling Liong sik >>>>>>Ling Hee Leong P71:Gopeng LOST

Amongst the MCa youth and new candidates, son of Tun ling lost in gopeng, a seat which has been strong for MCA for quite some time, really surprise me actually.

I believe it is a golden chance for Ling to make himself into the cabinet as a general secretary or deputy minister if he can win the parliament seat of gopeng, but he miss it.

Lim keng yaik>>>>>> Lim Si Pin P115:Batu LOST

Another son of former party president fall..

Son of Gerakan advisor, lim si pin lose in batu doesn't surprise me because his involvement in this general election as candidate for P115 has surprise me a lot more.

Prior to his nomination, I really do not know who lim si pin is until the press label him as "son of Lim keng yik"...

Chua soi lek>>>>>>> Chua Tee Yong P142: Labis WON

A big name of MCa which resign due to scandal issue, Datuk Chua's son succeed for his father labis parliament seat as Bn candidate.

With chua soi lek political result in Labis, there should be no problem for his son to won in that and it is proved with the support of voter in the election.

Opposition

Anwar Ibrahim>>>>>> Nurul Izzah P121 Lembah Pantai WON

Among the opposition, daughter of anwar, nurual izzah win in lembah pantai is a big one as she take on Datuk Seri Hjh. Shahrizat...

Hope to see her performance in the parliament as the daughter of PKR advisor and president.

Lim kit siang>>>>>>>>Lim Guan Eng P43: Bagan Air Puteh WON

Win in both state and parliament seat make Lim guan eng the headline of national headline who is going to lead the Penang state government as the chief minister.

My education journey and fate

It is almost the end of the undergraduate chapter of my life where 3 more months to go. Recently, I have been told that our president will going to retire soon before we step in to the MCA hall.

It makes me to have a flashback and I accidentally found this happened for my primary, secondary and university.

1. I only give out contribution and serve the school/university in various areas when I was in the last second year(primary 5, senior 2 and year 2)

2. I have been playing the role as contributor of the development fund but will never have chance to enjoy the development particulary new building or new campus for the schools and university.

3. All my headmaster of primary school, principal of high school and president of university retire at the time when I am going to graduate.

4. Lastly, all my headmaster, principal and president carry the same surname of ”, even the one in my nursery.

Just wondering is this my fate and should I purposely look for a employer with “”?? haha

A wonderful day with part of SRC committee in OneU

It was a great day for us (kent, max, swee wai, ping nian, jileng, jassy n me) to gather again and having time together for a meal and movie.

It has been some time that we meet together after we retire from the office and some of us joining the commercial world. So we have a new friend “SARA” that work in IBM that join us…hahaha

We take our tea time lunch at SOHO and we are the only customer in the restaurant like we have booked the restaurant. It is always a hard time for us to decide when come to food ordering part due to each and everyone preference. Our “NEW” friend does not eat pork, and what kind of dim sum can you think of without pork.

Then, we make our ways to cinema and manage to get our tickets for Jumper. By the way, this is my first time walking into the cinema hall without any food and beverages on my hand. The movie is nice and I really wish to be a jumper as well, it save me a lot of time and money especially going back to hometown…

Looking forward for the next gathering with all members together although we might be locate at different corner of the world. When are we going to Jogoya actually??

new fifty ringgit bank note.

This is the first time I get a close look on the new fifty ringgit bank note, none of my angpao for this year consist this.

The size is same as the existing one but it just feel to be smaller if you do not make a comparison with the existing one. The design makes it slim I think.

By the way, some say it look similar to Singapore dollar design, I have no comment on that part. I think the nation leader might have better position to answer that.

Dr chua is the presiden of MCA?

Look at the photo above, that is what I take from Nanyang press that report on those politicians helping their next generation for the general election While Dr Chua is helping his son for the Labis Parliament seat.

Nanyang press gives Dr Chua the title as former president of MCA, Dr chua; I am wondering since when Dr Chua become president or may be Dr Chua is the author’s favourite for that post instead of the existing person.hahahha

You have a think on it and judge by yourself.

Sorry for those who cant understand mandarin and please direct your enquires to MCA, because they are the one who put a pure Chinese song in their English version of party’s official web site.

3 flights in 7 days

Maybe it would not be so special for having experience on board in the air plane with the establishment of airasia, but how about having 3 flight in 7 days with A320 and fokker50?

With 4 days of public holidays and 3 days on leave for the Chinese New Year giving me a total of 7 days to spend with my family back in Sabah and take a rewind…

I take my first flight for the 7 days with flight from KL LCCT to Sandakan airport, the flight is still alright with a full house on board where everyone rushing back to celebrate the Chinese new year. It was a boring journey and I decided to work on my thesis at 30,000-35,000 feet up of the sky of South China Sea and Sabah. The most memorable moment of this journey has been nothing than passing by the mount Kinabalu in the Airasia A320 where you can saw the top of the mount. Finally, I have been safely arrived and touch down at Sandakan airport with a bit of delay from the scheduled time.

On the 4th day of the CNY of rat, I have taken my second flight with my mum which also my very first time in experiencing MASWINGS flight, although those aircraft is probably to be those which have served me when I was still a primary school kid. However, they have disappointed me with a delay of 1 hour for my flight from Sandakan to Tawau. Of course, it is a very short flight of around 45mins trip where I still able to have a Milo® and Tiger biscuit on it.

In day 6, it was the time for me to go back to sg long with many works yet to be rushes and completed. My flight from Tawau to KL LCCT was on the 10am something and the departure time has been delayed asd the aircraft arrive late but it was really unbelievable where we arrive at Kl Lcct 15mins earlier as what has been expected according to schedule which mean he take only 2hr n 15-20mins to complete a flight which should be done in 2hr n 45mins (I am quite curious how fast the pilot speeding up actually…)

General election 2008...

Finally the general election is coming and the petrol price increase is going to visit Malaysia again.....

Headlines for all local newspapers have been covered nothing than the politic parties decision on their candidates and the latest “promise” that they are giving to the voters.

This might be the most difficult year for Barisan Nasional where 2/3 of parliament seats is said to be a mission impossible for Pak Lah and his BN team. Of course, this is not being a easy job for his team with their performance in the past 4 years..

Alright, let’s see what we have under Pak Lah’s BN;

1. Inflation increase

2. Dissatisfaction increase

3. Poor performance from the existing MP and ministers in the cabinet.

Ok, in 2004 when pak lah step up as the new prime minister, everyone looking forward for a fair, democratic , less corruption, more FDI and better economy performance of the nation, creating a new Malaysia towards the vision 2020.

However, a more open system for media and internet provide more opportunity to the Malaysian to see, read and heard about the new Malaysia. (NO wonder our streamyx broadband speed cannot speed up like other neighbour countries, they might worry about more blogs, youtube, namewee will step forward for the nation….)

**Of course, we can understand that the world crude oil price hike will going to increase the burden of the country for the petrol subsidies….

Correct! Correct! Correct! but where are our PETRONAS PROFIT going?? We saw PETRONAS declare a huge hike in net profit and dividend declared to the country, but where are they going and where are those petrol tax going?? .

**disappointment raise when result in clean off the corruption doesn’t show any improvement which it has been a huge slogan for Pak Lah….

Correct! Correct!Correct!

We can see police force wearing saya anti rasuah, BPR state that they will investigate any corruption case regardless who is involved… but that’s not enough, it is juz a corner of the Mont Kinabalu(not using ice berg coz they start melt due to global warming)…..

**Parliament, a place where budget and act to be passed for the good of nation and the people in order to uphold the name of the nation and to mprove the living stardard…

Correct! Correct! Correct!

People questioning why our parliement still face leaking problem even spending miilion to renovate it, people questioning the quality of the contractor and the project. Sadly, what the people get is nothing than a shameful joke from our 2 Yang Berhormat wakil rakyat on ladies… another joke that people might not remember: the million worth renovation did not include the singking part….so what are they repair actually?

Seriously, if foriegners benchmark it as the quality of our local builders, I think the government better make sure they can keep on providing projects for those local builders which fail to win bid for foreign projects.

** lastly, a big thank you to our government effort in handling the inflation issue in our country...

Correct! Correct! Correct!

In order to minize the impact of subsidies reduction on petrol, the government has announce that people are not allow to increase their price because of it while action will be taken to any of them.

TNB naik harga, TMNET naik harga, toll pun naik harga, Nestle pun naik harga, kenapa peniaga runcit tidak dibenarkan naik harga??

TNB make more profit, who gain?

TM make more profit, who gain?

Toll make more profit, who gain?

Nestle cnt make profit, they run away.

People cnt make profit, mana kamu nak lari??
